      Judy McGehee, MA, LMFT, is President and Director of Partners In Recovery, a 501(3)© non profit organization, established in 1988. She has been working with individuals, families and children for 30 years in various Mental Health Treatment Settings which include hospitals, non-public and public schools, treatment centers and her Private Practice in Glendora, California. Her practice interests include issues in Addiction, Adoption, Relationship Enhancement and Interventions.
      Andrea Schneider, MSW, LCSW, is a volunteer coordinator for Postpartum Support International, has a Private Practice in Glendora, California, and a rich background in Supervision, Art/Play Therapy, Trauma Recovery, Postpartum/Perinatal Depression, and Stress/Anxiety Disorders. COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
Aging and Long Term Care: Mandatory BBS requirement, one time training for licensed MFT/LCSW’s.
Increase your knowledge of the developmental changes in Seniors. Learn specific interventions for biological, social and psychological challenges elders face. Identify how you can provide a specialty to serve the growing Senior population. Identify the substance abuse issues and sucidality among Seniors; Diagnosis, treatment, and referrals for multidisciplinary care. Identify ways in which Senior’s are abused in families, organizations, institutional care—filing reports.

Post Partum Depression:
This is a most important course for all therapists! Learn the unique signs and symptoms of PPD, hone your assessment skills necessary to understand perinatal mood disorders, learn treatment skills to treat your clients with PPD, and discover the community resources/referrals for this population. This course is a must for today's clients.

Preventing Burnout for Therapists:
An interactive time of creativity and energy building for therapists to discover “self” - the treat you give your clients. Chair massages available throughout the training day for your pleasure. Discover, Uncover, Recover and Relax. Think about staying overnight for a mini-vacation while you earn your CEU’s. Expect some surprises in this course. Fun in the sun, swim in the pool, relax in the Jacuzzi. Bring a non-professional book with you for this training. Suicide Prevention:
Learn about 5150’s, who is an LPS? , Help from the local police departments. Diagnosis, Treatment, and Support for your clients—discover local resources. Empower your therapist self—debriefing for you if a client commits suicide. This course may qualify for RISK MANAGEMENT for some Malpractice Insurance Companies.

Case Management Film Discussion:
Sit back and watch a movie, jot down your thoughts and discuss with peers and a panel of therapists how Family Therapy would have helped the individuals in this family. We can find many unique ways to celebrate our profession.
